The world’s fastest photoshoot, a thirtieth birthday and chicken burgers are three of our highlights (amongst many!) from Jacqui and Matt’s wedding at Grandchester scenic Spicers Hiddenvale.
Matt took a slightly unconventional role in his wedding, taking the reins and planning the whole thing! Leaving the very low key Jacqui responsible only for her dress. The couple invited their nearest and dearest to stay the weekend to also celebrate Matt’s 30th birthday while they were there, making their wedding just that little bit more special “It was just so amazing to have so much time with our family and friends, as well as each other,” says Jacqui. “It made it feel like all the time and effort that went into the wedding wasn’t just for one afternoon, but rather for this incredible time away that we will always remember.”
The biggest request from the couple was to have more time with their guests and spend as little time as possible getting their photos. Steph worked her magic and they got some shots together in record time and Jacqui and Matt spent their afternoon sipping champagne and having canapes with their guests.
The sweetest thing? Jacqui and Matt stayed in adjoining cabins at Spicers Hiddenvale and Jacqui made Matt his favourite meal the morning of the wedding, Chicken burgers.
