Spread across two days of celebrations, Zahra and Zaid’s Muslim wedding was a wonderful showcase of their religion and traditions. Their first day held their ceremony (Nikkah) at the Avalon Mount Tamborine Gardens and their reception on the second day was at the Surfers Paradise Marriott resort. Zahra wore green of her Nikkah and then an astonishing 20-kilogram dress that was handmade in Pakistan for her reception!
As part of their culture, at the reception, Zahra and Zaid are required to get photographs with all of their guests, which is no small feat when there are more than 450 of them to get through! We worked with the couple before the wedding to organise a stunning area where we could set up beautiful lighting, and move the guests through as effortlessly as possible.
This is one of Andy and Elysia’s all-time favourites, they had the opportunity (and time!) to do lots of family photos, a fun first look, and lots of incredible location shoots!
