Rachel and Alex tied the knot last year with 90 guests at the Queensland State Library and followed with a stunning reception at the Gallery of Modern Art Brisbane (GOMA). Having the two venues so close to each other meant these two had a very relaxed and intimate day with their guests with little travel stress and plenty of time to sneak away for a quick photoshoot around the GOMA grounds.
Alex proposed to Rachel when they were on holiday in San Diego, just a few months before Rachel was due to fly back to Australia for a job she had accepted here and according to Rachel, their time apart was made slightly better with the excitement of planning their wedding together.
One of the funniest moments? A tie between the gorgeous Alex forgetting his name midway through the ceremony and Rachel’s Mum’s speech (it was brilliant, trust us!)
Mitch and Andy shot together and Andy’s highlight was gently (not so gently) encouraging Rachel and Alex to run into the rain! Why? Because he’s a little bit of a weirdo, and rain photos are amazing!
